Mary, Queen of Scots Loch Leven Castle Key
This key was heroically used to free Mary Queen of Scots from her captivity
in Loch Leven Castle in 1568. The key was thrown into the river during her
pursuit and lost for hundreds of years until it was recovered and presented to
Sir Walter Scott.
